Robert L. Koehne's Obituary
Robert L. Koehne, age 63 of Enochsburg, Indiana, died Tuesday, August 14, 2007, at his home. Born July 7, 1944 in Batesville, Indiana, he is the son of Mary Lou (Nee: Stich) and Mark Koehne. He married Deborah Bohman on June 19, 1971 at St. John's Church in Enochsburg. Bob served in the Nation Guard following his graduation from high school. After the service, he ran Koehne Dairy for 20 years, delivering milk and dairy products and later worked at Printpack in Greensburg for 20 years. He also farmed for 40 years and was a member of the Prell-Bland American Legion Post #271 and St. John's Church.Survivors include his wife Debbie; sons Chris and Kevin, both of Enochsburg; sister Mary Delay of Lewisville, Indiana; brothers Richard of Batesville, William of Enochsburg and grandson Jack. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his sister Rita Mae Koehne.Visitation is Friday, August 17th, from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home, with a rosary service at 7 p.m. Funeral services are 10 a.m., Saturday, August 18th, at St. John's Church in Enochsburg. Rev. Gregory Bramlage will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery and military graveside rites will be conducted by the Prell-Bland American Legion and the Batesville V.F.W. Post #3183. Memorials may be made Hospice of Margaret Mary Hospital or the St. John's Church renovation fund.
