My dad, Raymond Parks, worked for Bob & Howard… and I got to work Sidewalk Days for them when I was about 14. At noon, Bob asked me if I had brought anything to eat… which I hadn’t. He then took me to his house, where Dorothy fixed lunch for us. What a kind couple! My condolences to the family.
We have many wonderful memories of Bob. He was a very good man. Enjoyed our time on the links together. Bob and Darlene McCreary
I have heard and enjoyed stories of this wonderful man. May he rest in peace.
Snork, I am so sorry to learn of your dad's passing. I still remember the football games in the front yard when he would play quarterback for both teams. He would always remind me to come over and repair the front yard after our football games. He will be missed by so many.

What a wonderful man with a truly profound impact on those he knew, helped without a selfish bone in his body! He is an instrument of a wonderful life lived. I’ll never forget the peace he helped me have during my fathers passing or the wonderful words he had to add to my already huge feelings of who he was. Bob changed a lot for me in a very small time that I met and knew him. I’m sure he did the same for everyone else he ever met!
A Batesville institution. Our sympathy to Snork and Mary Ann
