One of the most pure at heart men that I have ever met. I cannot recall an interaction with him that I wasn’t cordially treated with a handshake and a smile. Clearly this man had a love for God like many of us can long for. Praise Jesus Rod is in the kingdom of heaven. We can all take something away from this man in how to live this life. Work hard and love harder.
I appreciated Roderick's child likeness. He appreciated friendship and connections with people at our church. He loved to help clean up the coffee carafes. I remember praying with him one day about salvation and he prayed asking for God's forgiveness and believed on Jesus Christ for salvation! He's with the Lord now, and will receive a new body - and new ears!
