Ronald E. Hillman's Obituary
Ronald E. Hillman, age 76 of Greensburg, Indiana, passed away Friday, December 8, 2023, at Aspen Place Health Campus in Greensburg. Born October 16, 1947, in Batesville, Indiana, he is the son of Betty (Nee: Schulte) and Thomas Hillman. He married Eunice Green on November 25, 2000, and she preceded him in death.
Ronald was a supervisor at Henkels and McCoy for 22 years, before retiring. He was an Air Force veteran during the Vietnam War and was a member of the Greensburg American Legion. Ronald enjoyed hunting and working with and training his bird dogs.
He is survived by his daughter Dawn (Jerome) Raider of Greensburg; son Carl (Milinda) Hillman of Greensburg; mother of his children Michelle Hillman of Greensburg; grandchildren Jacob and Joshua Collins and Bailey Hillman; sisters Michelle Hillman-Day of Indiana, Tona (Terry) Schaefer of Ohio, Judy (Dan) Oyler of Florida, Sherry Thomas of Indiana and Terri Crockett of Indiana. In addition to his parents and his wife, Ronald was preceded in death by his sister Dalene Cox and brother Tommy Scott Hillman.
Visitation is Wednesday, December 13th, from 4 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Military rites will be conducted by the Ripley County Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #3183 and the Prell-Bland American Legion Post #271 of Batesville, immediately following on the funeral home plaza.
