Condolences to the family of Ruth. I saw recently at the Thanksgiving Day dinner at St. Andrews. She was a bright inspiration and recognized me and called me "Johnny". In much younger days, I remember when she was Batesville's dispatcher. I thought that was pretty awesome to have a cousin dispatcher. Your mom and your family were close neighbors for a long, long time. Both of our mothers lived in their houses for their entire lives. That doesn't happen often anymore. I often think of your mom sitting on the front porch. I stopped in to visit a few times since my mom's been gone and your mother never seemed to age. I miss your family and the old neighborhood. My deepest sympathy to all the family (my cousins). I remember Ruth's warmth, friendliness and good spirit at our Wintz family reunions of many years ago. My mom and dad, now long deceased, loved her so much too. Such a great loss to all family and friends. I am so sad.
