So sorry to hear of the passing of Sam. I met Sam through the awesome Halloween makeup she used to post about, we shared a love of Halloween and got to know each other through it, she was very talented. She will be missed
My wife and I send our heartfelt condolences to the family. I recall the many times I met Sam at the farmhouse in Sunman, Indiana. Three key qualities jumped out as I recollect our interactions: Strength, Authenticity, and Maturity (SAM). Her strength was evident in how she welcomed me with a smile as we interacted, not just every July 4, but on numerous other visits. Her authenticity oozed out as she shared a story about the carpet in her room (which I had once been privileged to use while she was away while I spent two days on the property on a project). Her maturity was clear as I got to learn her journey of resilience and powerful humanity toward others. May we all carry forward Sam's legacy by modeling strength, authenticity, and maturity in our lives. Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit will inspire us to be Strong, Authentic, and Mature as we uplift one another.
