Sarah I. Moeller, age 93 of Hamburg, Indiana, died Sunday, July 8, 2007 at the Home View Nursing Home in Franklin, Indiana. Born April 14, 1914 in Franklin County Indiana, she is the daughter of Philomena (Nee: Dwenger) and Bernard Haskamp. Sarah married Frank Moeller on April 27, 1937 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Hamburg and he preceded her in death on March 16, 1995.Sarah was a homemaker and a member of the New Horizons Guild and St. Anne’s Church.She is survived by her daughters Ann Wessler–Vernon and Carol Stier Nowlin of Franklin, Connie Nobbe and Janice Moeller of Batesville, Indiana; son Richard Moeller of Hamburg; 16 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Cora Mauer, Anna Struewing, Martha Haskamp and brothers Joseph, Edward, Frank and Aloysius Haskamp.Visitation is Wednesday, July 11th, from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home, with a rosary service at 7 p.m. Funeral services are 10 a.m. Thursday, July 12th, at St. Anne’s Church in Hamburg, with Rev. George Nangachiveettil officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to New Horizons or to the St. Anne’s Cemetery Fund.
