Sr. Louise Ann Rossi's Obituary
Sr. Louise Ann Rossi, formerly Sr. Patricia Clare, age 77 of the Srs. of St. Francis in Oldenburg, Indiana, died Monday, September 11, 2006, at the convent. Born June 10, 1929 in Middletown, Ohio, she is the daughter of Letizia (Nee: Rotondi) and Michael Rossi.Sr. Louise entered the convent February 1, 1948 and made her final vows on August 12, 1954. She taught for 52 years at St. Joseph's in Evansville, Indiana, Our Lady of Perpetual Help, St. Clare's and Our Lady of Victory in Cincinnati, Ohio and St. John XXIII in Middletown, before retiring to the Motherhouse in 2001.She is survived by her sister Laura Brown of Indianapolis, Indiana and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by sisters Mary Donisi, Rose Schwab, Helen Fetzer and brother Pat Rossi.Visitation is Thursday the 14th, from 1-3 p.m. at the Motherhouse chapel. Funeral services follow at 3 p.m., with Rev. James Meade officiating. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Srs. of St. Francis Convent, P.O. Box 100, Oldenburg, IN, 47036.
