Sister Gloria was a gift from God to everyone who had the honor to know her. His light shone in her eyes and smile. She was class and grace. Now she is in heaven with the angels - just as she was an angel while on this earth. God bless you Sister!

Sister Gloria was such a joy to my sisters and I (The Feldman sisters)
When I was a senior at ICA she was in charge of the music department. Our orchestra played "Stars & Stripes Forever". My memory of it was "perfection". Years later I heard the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra play that piece and I was a little disappointed. I told Sister Gloria that my memory was that our orchestra at the Academy was so much better. She laughed and laughed!
Every time I had the privilege to talk with Sister Gloria, It was such a joy. She felt like a member of my family.
I was fortunate to be at Marian College while Sr. Mary Gloria was there . She and all the Sisters who were there at the time made my college experience some of the best times of my life. Marian University is just not quite as special as it was while all of the Sisters of Oldenburg were there. She was a remarkable woman in ALL that she did. The choirs of heaven just got a new accompanist. May she rest in peace and thank you good and faithful servant.
My belief is that dear Sister Gloria is singing with the angels. What a beautiful person she was. I graduated from ICA in 1961. She worked magic with her knowledge of music. Our paths didn’t cross many times after that but each time they did, she recognized me and was the same vibrant and kind human being. I can picture her eyes brightening and then the beautiful smile would spread over her face. Thank you Sister Gloria. You were such a blessing to us all.
My prayers and sympathy to Sr. Gloria's family and to the sisters of St. Francis. I have fond memories of Sr. Gloria that go all the way back to days before she entered the convent. I grew up in College Hill and attended St. Clare School. She was my piano teacher. We kept in touch in later years through our Marian University alumni gatherings.
She was a very special person and will be greatly missed.

Sister Gloria was the most wonderful person I have ever known. I went to Oldenburg Academy and had many music classes with her. She was well liked and very devoted to her students. She will be greatly missed. God's love shine on you Sister Gloria!
What a wonderful servant of God. Sister Gloria had quite an impact on my life through the years I was involved in choir with her. I could tell she truly believed in me & was so honored to be chosen by her to narrate our performance in my senior year. Such a sweet spirit.
