Sr. Jane was my first grade teacher at St. Anthony's in Evansville and I have kept in contact with Sr over the years. I am so sorry for her passing from this life into God's hands. She is one of the best listeners around. Accept my sincere sympathy. God grant her rest in his heavenly kingdom. God bless you Sr. Jane.
I was so sorry to learn of Jane's passing. We attended St. Joseph's School and Church together. She was always upbeat and joyful. One afternoon I was at her house, and we decided to make chocolate fudge. After it was finished, we remembered that it was Lent, and we both gave up candy We didn't eat it. I remember that she asked me if I wanted to go to Oldenburg when she did. I considered it, but it didn't seem to be my calling. Please know that my prayers and thoughts are with Jane and her family.

I worked with Sr. Jane at Ascension St. Vincent's Hospital in Evansville Indiana. We completed our Board Certification as Chaplains with the National Association of Catholic Chaplains in 2005 and went through the same ceremony in 2006. She was a joy to work for and with. Peace, Chaplain Linda C.
Sr. Jane was my second grade teacher at Oldenburg Elementary. I remember her fondly as a genuinely nice, caring teacher. She made second grade so very dear to me, and I would remember her throughout my life whenever I was asked to think of teachers who helped form my life.
