S. Joan belonged to our Cincinnati Troubadour Associate Group and was a very faithful and prayerful friend and always fun to be with. She made many a friend while attending OLA. She taught at St. Aloysius where she was loved by all her students and also the members of the parish. One of her students, Holly Schapker became a well know artist and S. Joan was so excited when she received several of her prints. May her beautiful soul rest in peace. Much Love, Marion Mitchel
Sr. Joan had a heart as big as the world. She was a good friend and fellow justice advocate. Joan loved life and lived it fully. Always attentive to others, she was kind, caring, and had a sweet spirit. Her deep faith saw her through any challenge or vision. She loved having fun too.
My deepest sympathy to all the Sisters of St. Francis whom Joan deeply loved. My prayers are with you. I miss all of you and regret that I cannot be with you today. God Bless you with comfort, peace, and many good and shared memories.
