Sr. Joel was a friend to me for 24 years - from our first trip to Roswell, NM for Marion College (where I learned you bet with the Sisters on the ponies) untill she passed. I'm thankful I was able to speak with her a few times in the past month or so. I was hoping for one more "Birthday" visit... She was always so calm and understanding, loving me even when my life became so busy that our visits dwindled to 3-4 times a year. However, I always cherished our time together. She lived the good life and now will have her reward in Heaven with her Lord and Savior. Condolences to all the family.
