Sr. Elizabeth L. Meluch's Obituary
Sr. Elizabeth L. Meluch, age 78 and a member of the Carmelite Sisters of Oldenburg, Indiana, died Sunday, May 16, 2010 at University Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Born April 1, 1932 in Charleroi, Pennsylvania, she is the daughter of Anna (Nee: Zippay) and John Meluch. Sr. Betty entered the convent in 1957 and made her final vows in 1959.She is survived by her sister Mary Coborn of Export, Pennsylvania; brothers William Meluch of Selma, Texas, Andrew Meluch of Westlake, Ohio and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by sister Anna Smith and brothers George and John Meluch.There will be no visitation. A memorial mass will be held 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 21st, at the Srs. of St. Francis Chapel in Oldenburg. Burial in be in St. Francis Cemetery.
