Sr.Norma will be remembered as a woman of prayer who acted justly, loved tenderly,and walked humbly with God. We lived together in community at Marian University and at St. Bartholomew Parish in Cincinnati,OH. when I was a Franciscan sister. I will always remember Norma’s enthusiasm as a Marian Knight and Dean at Marian University in Indianapolis,IN as well as her dedication to her St. Louis Cardinal Baseball team...She was truly committed to her deep Christian roots and Franciscanvalues...Norma was like the energizer bunny who keeps going and going! I will always remember her witty sense of humor (which she got from her dad),her St Louis ties to family and her heartfelt generosity to serve others. Be at peace my friend! You are loved and missed!
Sister Norma was a close friend to me. She was a constant source of support during my time at Marian University and she will be missed by every student who was impacted by her life. I can't imagine a world without Sister Norma. Thank you for everything you have done for us and the Marian community. #GoKnights
When Sister was in St. Claire infirmary I was fortunate to help care for her. Such a beautiful Sister! Never did she have a frown no matter how much pain she was in. Always smiling and asking how I was doing and always offering up prayers for me.
She will be missed but she is now in peace and looking down on us.
Sister Norma was such an inspirational force for me over the past 20 years. She was truly a gift from God for all those who knew her. Although see will be missed terribly, she will continue to inspire and motivate me for the rest of my life.
