I was a student of Sr. Jacinta at Lady of Lourdes when I was in second grade. There are few teachers that made as much of an impression on me. I've only just learned that she passed some years ago as I wanted to reach out to her to give my thanks. My hope is that she knows of her enduring presence in my life and that her warm and loving kindness during that period of my life was the greatest gift I could have been given. I am eternally grateful to you.
May she rest in the bosom of our Creator God.Oh what fond memories we all hold. I will always remember those many Sundays spent visiting Aunt Delores at Oldenburg with the extended Stein Family. I remember talking with Sr. Jacinta over the years about her love of her faith and the liturgy. We shared an interest in the history of the Stein family and I loved to hear what information she had discovered. She was dedicated to her faith and her family.Once we were talking about when she was teaching the younger children about God and how do we know He is here if we can’t see Him… she held an inflated balloon and told them “Just like air, God is there.” It is comforting to know that she died on Easter to be reborn into her new life. I offer my sincere condolences for the loss of Sr. Jacinta. It is very tragic when we lose someone. Be strong and have hope. Her caring service to others will forever be remembered and appreciated. She is well-loved and will be missed. Please reflect on the promises that are made at Revelation 21:4, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”. Rest assured that Sr. Jacinta is in Jehovah God's memory.
