Taylor Forrest Jones' Obituary
Taylor F. Jones, age 20 of Oldenburg, Indiana, died Thursday, June 25, 2015 at his residence. Born August 12, 1994 in Batesville, Indiana, he is the son of Pamela (Nee: Berning) Moorman and Kirk Jones.Taylor had a love for animals and recently did a lot of research about the Bobcat, which he seriously thought about getting as a pet. He was a history buff and enjoyed watching the National Geographic Channel. He especially enjoyed cooking and eating what he had prepared and just eating in general. His true passion though, was spending time with his family and most especially his friends.He is survived by his mother and step-father Pamela and Darrin Moorman of Oldenburg; father and step-mother Kirk and Melissa Jones of Batesville; sister Alexandria Jones of Oldenburg; step-sisters Tess Bedel of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Brooke Bedel of Batesville, Devin Moorman of Oldenburg; step-brother James (Rachel) Moorman of Oldenburg; nephews Wyatt and Levi Moorman, both of Oldenburg; paternal grandmother Gilda Jones of Cincinnati, Ohio; maternal grandmother Carol Berning of Cincinnati, Ohio. Taylor was preceded in death by paternal grandfather Vassie Jones and maternal grandfather Donald Berning.Visitation will be held Monday, June 29th, from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m., at the funeral home in Batesville. Funeral services follow at 1 p.m., with Rev. David Kobak, O.F.M. officiating. Cremation will follow the services. Memorials may be given to the Franklin County Humane Society.
