Vyola F. Gutzwiller's Obituary
Vyola F. Gutzwiller, age 91 of Mesa, Arizona and formerly of West Lafayette and Batesville, died July 3, 2014 in Arizona. Born June 15, 1923 in Batesville, she is the daughter of Clara (Nee: Narwold) and Walter Westerman. She married Martin Gutzwiller September 24, 1944 at Fort Rucker, Alabama and he preceded her in death June 10, 1982.
She is survived by her daughters Anita (Jon) Duff of Gilbert, Arizona; Janna Ott of Morgantown, West Virginia; grandchildren Kathryn (Chris) Loffredo, Abbe (Chris) Cavanaugh, Jaclyn (Ralph) Cook, Jeffrey Ott, great grandchildren Drew Loffredo, Brynn Cavanaugh, Cooper Cavanaugh, Nicholas Cook and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband and parents, she is also preceded in death by sister Martha Dieckmann and brother Wallace Westerman.
A memorial service was held in Arizona. The family will receive friends from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 19th, at the funeral home followed by a 10:30 a.m. graveside service at St. Louis Cemetery. The family requests memorials to the Margaret Mary Health Foundation Hospice.
