William R. Moeller's Obituary
William R. Moeller, age 64 of Batesville, died Sunday, September 23, 2007 at Margaret Mary Community Hospital. Born August 19, 1943 in Batesville, he is the son of Opal (Nee: Walterman) and Herman Moeller. He married Leona Kinker November 28, 1964 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Enochsburg, Indiana.Bill was an Airplane Mechanic for Hillenbrand Industries for 42 years, before retiring in January 2006. He served in the Army National Guard and was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church, the Prell-Bland American Legion Post #271, Knights of Columbus Council #1461, Fraternal Order of Police and Eagles Aerie #1130.He is survived by his wife Leona; sons Scott Moeller and Gary Meyer; daughters Carol Bergman and Cheryl Siebert, all of Batesville; sister Ruth Meyer of Oldenburg, Indiana; brother Ken Moeller of Hamburg, Indiana and 10 grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter Lynn Ann Bergman and sister Dorothy “Dots” Meyer.Visitation is Wednesday, September 26th, from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Funeral services are Thursday, September 27th, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Louis Church in Batesville, with Rev. Dennis Duvelius officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery, with military graveside rites conducted by Batesville V.F.W. Post #3183 and Prell-Bland American Legion Post #271. Memorials may be made to Batesville E.M.S.-10 or to New Horizon’s Rehabilitation Center.
