William D. Ziegler's Obituary
William D. Ziegler, age 94 of Oldenburg, died Saturday, March 25, 2006, at The Waters of Batesville. Born October 13, 1911 in Dearborn County Indiana, he is the son of Pearl (Nee: Hokey) and Henry Ziegler. He married Clara Wessler on February 19, 1941 at Holy Family Church in Oldenburg and she preceded him in death on May 12, 1988. He later married Hazel Crawford on June 17, 1989 in Oldenburg and she also preceded him in death.William was a member of the Holy Family Church, Knight's of St. John Oldenburg Commandery and the Knight's of St. John in Covington, Kentucky. Bill was a retired farmer.He is survived by his sister Gertrude Monnig of Cincinnati, Ohio; step-daughter Sharon Disney of Milan, Indiana; step-grandchildren Andrew and Heather Disney and numerous nieces and nephews.Visitation is Thursday, March 30th, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services are Friday, March 31st at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family Church with Rev. Humbert Moster, O.F.M. officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
