Zachary A. Litzinger's Obituary
Zachary A. Litzinger, age 17 of Hamburg, died Wednesday, July 16, 2008. Born July 4, 1991 in Batesville, he is the son of Geralyn (Nee: Dickman) and Gary Litzinger of Hamburg. Zach would have been a junior this fall at Batesville High School. His true passion was golf, where he excelled for the Batesville Bulldogs and he also enjoyed deer hunting. He was a member of the Indiana Golf Foundation and FFA at school. Zach was also a member of St. Anne’s Church in Hamburg. He worked part time in maintenance and grounds keeping for the North Branch Golf Course and also part time at Margaret Mary Hospital in the food service department.In addition to his parents Geralyn and Gary, he is also survived by his sister Haley Litzinger of Hamburg; maternal grandparents Irene and Richard Dickman of Batesville, paternal grandparents Julie and George Litzinger as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.Visitation is Monday, July 21st, from 3-8 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home in Batesville. Funeral services are 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 22nd, at St. Louis Church in Batesville, with Rev. George Nangachiveettil and Rev. Dennis Duvelius officiating. Burial will be in St. Anne’s Cemetery in Hamburg. The family requests memorials to the Batesville High School Golf Team.
