To the Meister Family: I taught with Dennis for many years. Many of my students took his shop classes. I had the opportunity to observe his class. He was so patient and caring for all the students. The projects they made included small racing cars, wood crafts for their parents ect. The students were very proud of their projects they made in Mr. Meister's shop class. I taught with Dennis for just over 30 years and always enjoyed our conversations about students, his farming, and his steam engines. Dennis was truly a humble man with a love for what he did. So many former students have expressed their love of his classes and the projects they still proudly keep.

Dennis was a great man and touched thousands of lives. I am sorry that I am unable to attend the funeral because I am in Cancun. My life would be incredibly different if I would of never meet Dennis.
