Uncle Marty and his family have been in my thoughts since I heard the news. Words can't take away the natural grief. But perhaps knowing that the prayers of many both near and far are being lifted for you, may help a little as you move through it. May you feel Christ's love and hope surround you today and always.
My deepest sympathy to your family..
We send our deepest sympathy to our cousins, aunts, and uncles at the death of our dear uncle, Marty. You have experienced much loss in the last few years, and our thoughts and prayers are with you. We have such warm and loving memories of Marty, whom I remember from the time he was a very young man out at the family farm. Then, and in all the years since, he has been sweet and caring, and will be greatly missed. He's now in heaven with his loved ones who preceded him, including Grandma and Grandpa, and our beloved mother and their other little brother, Joey.
As a friend of Jeff I will always remember his Dad (Marty) as a man who never rested. He was constantly working whether it would be at the firehouse, cutting grass, working on the pool or helping a neighbor. Marty will always be my example of work ethic. I hope that your resting peacefully in heaven.Your friend,Greg Lynch

Jeff,Barb,Pete,Family, & Friends,I am so very sorry for your loss. Mr. Hartman has been a life long friend and 2nd father to me since I was about 6 years old. I met him @ a Firefighter's Class Reunion as he and my father went to Fire College together. Jeff & I became best friends that day and from there it is the same today. Thank you for raising such a fine son to be my life long best friend. Mr. Hartman had a calm demeanor and was always a gentleman. He had a signature smile & laugh that still makes me smile today. I remember seeing his muscular forearms for the first time and knowing then how hard of a worker he was & saw how hard he worked to provide for his loving family. I was blessed to have Mr. Hartman in my life for all these years. I will miss him greatly. God Bless you Mr. Hartman. May you rest in peace.Lovingly,Kenny
